(Oslo/Stavanger, October 24, 2024) – Entra is investing in new technology and has signed an agreement with the Norwegian energy technology company Noova Energy Systems for energy monitoring and environmental reporting across its entire property portfolio. The solution provides better control over energy data, costs, and reporting. Now, tenants will more easily gain insight into their own energy consumption—and work toward their own sustainability targets.

Noova’s technology identifies and analyzes consumption of energy, waste, and water, and clearly highlights where reductions can be made. It also automates and simplifies the processes of tenant allocation and billing.

Time for a New Approach

Cumbersome routines and new reporting requirements prompted the need for a fresh approach—to consolidate everything into one digital platform.

“Now everything is digitalized, efficient, and streamlined. The solution will yield significant administrative savings and consumption cuts. The improved overview and communication with tenants will also contribute to a better customer experience,” says Pål Oroszko, Head of the Technical Specialist Team at Entra.

Essential Reductions

The real estate industry must contribute to essential climate cuts, and stricter EU requirements will demand new technology solutions.

“Entra always seeks forward-looking partners. We’ve worked purposefully on innovation and conducted pilots with several companies, including Noova. Globally, buildings account for 40% of energy consumption. That consumption must be reduced—and documented. We are able to do that very effectively with Noova’s technology,” says Oroszko.

An Innovation Partner

In recent years, Noova has positioned itself as a leading player in energy and sustainability solutions for commercial buildings. They view every collaboration as an opportunity to reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.

Pål-Amund Mathiesen, Regional Manager at Noova, states that Entra’s digital initiative is a vital step toward a successful green transition.

“To succeed in the green shift toward a zero-emissions society, a digital push is essential. Entra is a role model in the property sector, always looking for smart and environmentally friendly solutions. For us, they’ve become an important innovation partner, and we’re excited to achieve results together,” concludes Mathiesen.
